Cottages can be booked for a minimum of three nights, with flexible arrival and departure dates to suit you. In high season, the minimum stay is five nights, unless booked within three weeks of the arrival date, when subject to availability, shorter stays can be arranged. If you can only spare time for two nights away, but don't want to rush for the 10am checkout, save £30 on a three-night break and keep your cottage up until 7pm on the final day.

During the Storm Watching Breaks a free dinner is offered in the Sand Brasserie(see booking conditions for details). The hotel is closed for a few days over Christmas; and no housekeeping or hotel facilities other than tennis and golf are available. The hotel is not available after 7pm on the 31st December, unless a table has been booked for the black tie party.

Several cottages have space for an extra pullout bed (apartments don’t). The cost for an additional guest is 10% extra in a 2 bedroom, 5% in a 3 bedroom cottage. A cot and/or highchair can be hired at £5 per night (if the baby is additional to the standard number of guests). The cosy studio is an intimate, excellent value option (extra 25% discount) with a 4'6" foldaway bed, TV, shower, WC, mini kitchen with hob and combi-microwave and fridge with ice box. It has no fire, dvd, music centre, separate dining area, terrace or balcony. It is not possible to offer meal inclusive terms or room service in the cottages.

The free car park is adjacent to the village and hotel staff will gladly assist with luggage. Cars are parked at owners’ risk.  At all times overall responsibility remains with parents. During these periods there will be organised activities during the day providing there are sufficient numbers of youngsters in the hotel and cottages. Wifi is available in the Hotel free of charge.
