Sea views
Any cottage described as having a 'sea view' will have at least one view of the sea from its sitting room. Cottages/apartments with a 'sea glimpse' or 'village view' benefit from sheltered gardens and balconies, and the tariffs for these are reduced by 10%.
Length of stay
Cottages can be rented for a minimum of three nights, with flexible arrival and departure dates to you suit you. In high season, the minimum stay is five nights, unless booked within three weeks of the arrival date when (subject to availability) shorter stays can be arranged.
Late check out
Checkout is 10am. If you can only spare time for two nights away but don't want to rush for the 10am checkout, save £30 on a three-night break and keep your cottage until 7pm on the final night (must be arranged in advance).
Extra beds and cots
Several cottages have space for one extra pullout bed, whereas the apartments do not. The cost for an additional guest is an extra 10% in a two-bedroom cottage, or 5% in a three-bedroom cottage. Cots and/or highchairs can be hired for £5 per night (if the baby is additional to the standard number of occupants).
Room Service
We regret that it is not possible to offer room service in the cottages (except Breakfast Service.)
Parking
The free car park is adjacent to the village and hotel staff will gladly assist with luggage. Cars are parked at owners' risk.
Disabled access
In order to accommodate guests with limited mobility we have disabled parking bays close to the front of the Hotel and the Village. Several of the cottages have disabled access and the paths around the Headland Village have been improved to allow for easy access for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. If you require assistance please contact us to discuss requirements prior to your stay.
School holiday activities
During the school holidays and half term periods, children can join in organised hotel activities and be looked after free of charge whilst parents enjoy dinner. Harry Potter room (suitable for 4 yrs plus) providing their parents are dining in the Hotel.
Little Extras
Dogs are permitted @ £9-£11 per night (no food provided).
Metered telephone calls @ 25p per unit.
A coin operated laundrette and laundry service is available.
Swimming Pool
The outdoor pool is heated from the end of May until early September. Please bring your own towels for use on the beach and by the outdoor pool. Or you may prefer to take a swim in the hotel indoor pool or decide to indulge yourself in the hotel spa.
