The Headland wins Best Family Business Award
The Headland Hotel Company was named 'Best UK Family Business, Southern and Wales Region' in the £5-£25m turnover category of the Coutts Prize for Family Business 2007/8. The company will now go on to compete in the same category at the national finals to be held in central London on Thursday 5th June 2008.

At the Headland, we take sustainability issues very seriously. Although we already operate in an environmentally friendly manner in many areas, we have set up a task force of staff members from every department to investigate all the areas we can improve.
Whilst we are adopting many new initiatives, we are careful to balance these with the expectations of our guests, and will only implement changes where they benefit both the environment and our guests.
This is very much a team effort and we would like suggestions and feedback from our guests to ensure we are covering every angle.
