Travelling by road to the Headland in Newquay is straightforward. Travel down the M5 to the end of the motorway at Junction 31, where you can choose the A30 or the more southerly A38 (which has some single carriageway sections and traverses the Tamar Bridge at Plymouth). Both routes rejoin at the Bodmin by-pass.

From the outskirts of Newquay follow the signs to Fistral Beach.
