Restaurant Manager
£20,000 to £25,000 per annum
We are looking for someone with a charismatic personality who can create a fun, lively atmosphere to ensure the future success of The Restaurant with both residents and non residents. Working with a competent F&B assistant in the administration of the department, a promising head waiter, and a fabulous team, you will be the leader of one of the largest departments in the hotel.
We are looking for someone who is a warm and welcoming host with an ability to interact successfully with a wide range of guests; able to inspire and motivate their staff to ensure they achieve their full potential at all times; imparting their knowledge to help the team build their skills?
The Restaurant serves an average of 100 - 150 covers a day in the high season, and is will be undergoing a complete renovation this winter. The Restaurant is also used for private dining, events and weddings in the quieter months.

£24,000 to £27,000 per annum
Are you a pro active and motivated Sous Chef? Are you looking to play a key role in a busy kitchen within a 4 star hotel?
You will be working as part of a team catering for two restaurants with up to 350 guests and a wide range of conference and banqueting facilities. You will have excellent preparation and presentation skills and be able to assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchens and assist in food costs, budgets and control.
You will need to ensure the kitchens are appropriately staffed at all times and assist with rotas and the delegation of duties. You will be involved in the recruitment and selection of kitchen staff and to ensure their correct induction, ongoing training and development, and performance management.
You will have excellent communication skills, be a self motivated individual with good timekeeping and problem solving skills and attention to detail. You will have a strong sense of urgency and be disciplined as an individual and demand the same of your team.

Are you an excellent administrator with attention to detail? Do you thrive in a busy atmosphere, working under pressure? Do you have exceptional communication skills, allowing you to anticipate guests' needs?
Our busy Reservations department handles enquiries and bookings for 96 stylish AA 4* bedrooms and 40 fantastic VisitBritain 5* gold award self-catering cottages. You will be comfortable talking to guests on the telephone, face to face, and via email. Experience in an administration or customer related role is essential, while experience in sales or dealing with third party websites is an advantage as we are constantly looking to maximise our bookings through an exciting range of promotions and special events.
This is a full time, year round permanent position with approximately 40 hours over a 5 day week to include weekends. Head Chef in The Terrace from Easter to November, and then becoming encorporated into The Restaurant kitchen brigade from November to Easter under The Head Chef.

You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of a very fast paced and high intensity kitchen, serving 50 covers inside, 50 plus covers outside, and snacks for those who wish to enjoy a light bite. You will have excellent preparation and presentation skills and be able to do your own food costs, budgets and controls.
You will need to be able to ensure the kitchen is appropriately staffed at all times and assist with rotas and the delegation of duties. We are looking for a sparkling and enthusiastic leader who is always beautifully turned out, with stunning attention to detail. Organised and articulate, you should be able to lead a shift in Reception in the absence of the Front of House Manager, with a genuine passion for delivering a warm and friendly guest experience.
There is great potential for career development in this role, moving towards a Front of House Assistant Manager position.
